Venus is the second closest planet to the Sun. Venus is 108 million km from the Sun.

Venus, which is named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty, is veiled by thick swirling cloud cover. The tilt of its axis is 178 degrees and the length of the year on Venus is 0.62. The length of the day is 243 earth days.

The temperature on Venus is 500 degrees Celsius which makes it the brightest and hottest planet in our solar system due to its thick layer of clouds. (CO2) Venus has no moons. Venus is the 6 largest plant in our solar system and is very similar to the earths mass and size. Venus turns the opposite way to practically all the other plants
